John began his career in his twenties working for one of the country's leading Fabric Houses. There he gained much knowledge about the importance of quality and design integrity which remain the cornerstones of each of the firm's interior design projects. Subsequently, his association with Nancy Serafini's well know Boston firm, was extremely instrumental in launching John as a respected and well known interior designer. Nancy gave John an opportunity to flourish while establishing his own personal decorating style which he defines as "Youthful Traditional". John's work has been described as elegant, sophisticated, and understated with clean lines and a calming color palate, yet extremely livable and comfortable.
In addition to Boston and Los Angeles, John has completed projects in locations as diverse as Palm Beach, Maine, Vermont and Cape Cod. John's work has been featured in many national and local publications including Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Boston Globe Magazine and Boston Spirit.
In October of 2004 House Beautiful magazine named John "One of the 25 Next wave of America's Top Young Designers".
